LUNGSOD is a database that brings you
the most livable cities in the Philippines, without the congestion of Metro Manila,
Metro Cebu, or Metro Davao.
LUNGSOD was born out of the discovery that not
many Filipinos are aware of cities around them
that have developed over the years. These cities
have developed so much so that in fact, they are
on the same level as Metro Manila in terms of
opportunities, but are more affordable and
spacious due to the lower populations.
The index is a system that rates a city's livability according to eight categories:
Employment
Housing
Transportation
Health
Infrastructure
Education
Local Government
Leisure
These categories are also individually graded by
assessing the quality of these factors in each
city, and assigning them a grade of low, medium,
or high. We've even taken the liberty to show you
a few examples of the best each category has to
offer in a city! This means we show you the best
schools, hospitals, companies, and more.
